What is Lifecycle Messaging?
Lifecycle Messaging is a tool that allows you to set up automated SMS campaigns to send to your customers based on specific milestones within their lifecycle.
What makes Lifecycle Messages better than other SMS campaigns sent through Elevate Marketing?
Lifecycle campaigns are more timely and more targeted than other SMS campaigns in Elevate Marketing. Instead of sending a campaign at one point during the month to an audience, Lifecycle Messages are sent automatically to all customers as soon as they hit the trigger for that specific message. This creates a more consistent flow of messaging to your customers throughout the month, resulting in better customer relationships over time.
How much does Lifecycle Messaging cost?
What stores are able to sign up for Lifecycle Messaging?
Any store with SMS enabled is eligible for Lifecycle Messaging. Stores in Do Not SMS states (AZ, TX, WI, ID, IN, LA, FL, and OK) will not be able to sign up for Lifecycle Messaging.
Do I need to set up all of my stores for Lifecycle Messaging to use the tool?
No. Setting up Lifecycle Messaging happens at the door level, so you may sign up all your doors or just a few to start.
How many Lifecycle Messages can I set up?
You can set up as many Lifecycle campaigns as are available within the tool. Just keep in mind that more campaigns can equal a larger monthly reach which could result in overage charges.
How will I be charged?
You will initially be charged the base monthly fee, along with the activation fee (unless subscribed annually) to the card you have set up within Elevate Marketing for Lifecycle Messaging. Afterwards, you will be charged the base monthly fee and any overages you incur. You will have the ability to choose the credit card when you sign up each store.
When will I be billed?
You will be billed monthly, based on the date you sign up for Lifecycle Messaging.
How will I be billed for overages?
Overages will be calculated at the close of the month based on when you signed up for Elevate Marketing. For example, If your billing date is the 19th of the month overages will be calculated from the 19th of the previous month through the 18th of the current month and charged along with your monthly fee on the 19th of the current month.
How will I be notified about overages?
Any overages for the previous month will be shown as a line item on your monthly invoice. You will not be notified if you are reaching your monthly message allotment, but you will have visibility into how many messages have been sent to date in the current month so you can track where you're at.
How will I know how many messages are sending?
You will be provided reporting on each Lifecycle Messaging campaign to see how many messages have been sent to date.
Will I have assistance setting up my stores?
Yes. Our support team can help you set up your Lifecycle Messaging.
Can I cancel LCM at any time?
Yes. You can cancel Lifecycle Messaging for any store at any time. You will be issued a prorated refund if you cancel mid-month (or mid-year for yearly subscriptions).
Can I preview the messages that are sending?
Yes. Prior to setting up any Lifecycle campaign, you will have the ability to preview the message.
Are LCM message offers national promos or dealer funded?
Most Lifecycle Message offers are national promotions, but there may be one or two dealer funded campaigns from time to time. We will note this in the campaign description, but it is important to preview all campaign creative before you set it up.
How do Lifecycle Messages work with my other Elevate Marketing campaigns?
Subscribing to Lifecycle Messaging actually gives you an additional opportunity to talk to your customers each month. Each month you have two opportunities to reach each customer on your contact list. These opportunities could be used for email, or SMS (either a standard campaign or Lifecycle Message). With Lifecycle Messaging you receive one additional opportunity reserved solely for a Lifecycle Message so these important, timely messages can get delivered to your customers.
