Outbound Calling can let you call customers with a Spanish language preference with a Spanish call script. Let’s go over what you need to do to access it and the steps to take before making a call.

When making a call, you will notice a language preference in the customer list or when you show a customer’s number. If the language preference is Spanish, you can choose to make the call in Spanish. Go down the script below the calling pin, and you will see a menu drop-down for script language preference. From there, choose the Spanish option, and the script below will change to Spanish.

Note: Spanish Calling Scripts may not be available for all calling scripts. If Spanish is not available for a script, the dropdown to select script language will not appear. Here is a current list of calling buckets that offer a Spanish script option.

  • Customer Retention

    • Welcome + Pre-2MR Check-In

    • 3rd/4th Month Check-In

    • Pre-6MR Check-In

    • Customer Loyalty - Bronze

    • Customer Loyalty - Silver

    • Customer Loyalty - Gold

Now that you know how to access the Spanish calling script let’s go over some tips and best practices for your location(s) before making Spanish calls.

  1. Bilingual Comfortability - It is recommended that you are fluently bilingual or highly comfortable speaking the Spanish language. As with any connected calls, the conversation may involve questions outside the calling script. If you cannot continue the conversation or answer questions in the Spanish language, do not attempt to make a Spanish call. With this, it may be best to designate someone at the store who is bilingual or comfortable with the Spanish language to be your Spanish caller. This way, you reach your customers effectively and consistently.

  2. Practice Makes Perfect - When starting with any new script, make sure to practice reading through the script before initiating a call. Every script has its differences, and if using the Spanish script, there will be many other differences. We recommend looking through the Spanish scripts here to get acclimated with them before making your call.
